For those of you who do not know-- this blog started because I told a friend on my break that I needed a hobby. Well, he looked at me over his slurpy from subway and calmly told me that he thought doodling was my hobby.Since I doodled on everything including the back of his receipt from subway. I was doodling myself burning down wal-mart since I was having a really bad day at work that day.(But I would really never burn down wal-mart for those people who may take that seriously)
So I started a doodle blog about all things that have me crazy right now.
I've recently started reading Korean webtoons and they're out of the box story telling has me crazy but that's another post. Last night I did another fan doodle of Sharean Morishita's two comics that she's doing right now.
Bottled Prince and Love Love Fighting.
Both of them are really good.
I'm about to run off to work so I don't have time to put links up.
I'll do that later.
Because I have another idea for another fan art doodle-- it's fan service for the ladies. You know how we are! I'm just having a ton of fun with this stuff. I consider it fun.The next post will be about the webtoons that I am currently obsessed with and maybe some fan art to.
So here's my fan art of the day.

DUM DUM Dum... Awesome Read! Midnight Riot!
Looking for a great read to fill those lonely nghts?
Well, look no further than Midnight Riot by Ben Aaronovitch!
It's about a young, black, british contables named Peter Grant who becomes the apprentice of the last Wizard of London! The story is a great read and constable Peter Grant has one of the cutest personalities ever. He has this way of taking in all the weird, supernatural, and magical events around him in a completely logical manner. And, he also uses that logic of his to justify breaking rules and getting into all sorts of trouble. The book starts off with Peter guarding a murder scene... and then taking the statement of the only eye witness-- who just so happens to be a ghost. He does everything the way he's supposed too-- in a proper copper manner. He's intrinsically curious, and has no problem appreciating the female form of his partner Leslie and a local water goddess named Beverly. He has to solve the case of supernatural violent murders in which people's faces fall after the murderous assault is completed. Over all, it's a great read and so I did a little fan doodle for one of my favorite books!
I love constable Peter Grant! Trust me, he will make you smile.... in a good way.

wal-mart drama and natural hair
Okay, I've got some Wal-mart drama.
I work as cashier at Wal-mart part time but it feels like a full time job. So anyway, I've recently gone all natural with my hair these past couple of months after I transitioned for a year. So now I rock the really cute twist out Afro look that real low maintenance and easy to handle. So I go to work today and one of my co-workers-- who i nicknamed "Little Orphan Annie" because her name is Ann. So yeah, I go to work today and I'm like "Hi Annie, can i borrow your spray bottle" so i could clean up my register before it got to busy. She takes one look at me and rolls her eyes and says, " I don't know about your hair today...." in a totally insulting manner. Now keep in mind-- I'm black and Annie is white.
Like I give a crap her opinion when she comes to work looking a hot mess EVERYDAY!
So I tell her, " I don't care what you think. It's my hair and I can do what I want with it."
Yeah, she was really rude. Especially the fact that I've gotten hit on by more white guys in the past couple of months than my whole life because of the hair. I've gotten more compliments that I can handle, and alot of smiles, and a lot of stares from people who act like they've never seen natural hair on a black person. See, today-- I was totally polite. But here is what I wanted t say. Look Below.:
Yeah, here's my doodle on what I was thinking. Now I'm a really sweet person, but today I almost took the halo off and popped one in her behind.Whenever I'm feeling down about myself-- I watch this video.
There's more than one different kind of beauty.
